This tree started from an avocado pit we rooted in our kitchen over 3 years ago. It now lives in the Boyce's greenhouse and although it hasn't produced any fruit, we love to visit her!

Sadly, the bird didn't make it through the night. We found a good spot to lay it to rest.

The neighbors found a baby bird that fell out of it's nest. Ellie worked hard to feed it and keep it warm.

Went into school (mask not pictured) to start cleaning out the office and finishing up work. Working part-time this year has definitely brought many good moments, but it's time to step away for now and focus on family.

Ellie saw these mini cakes in a video and has been wanting to make them. They are planning to deliver the birthday one to Remi later, and without a doubt the rest will be gone by tonight.

Mike took the girls out to use the telescope. They were required to bring new facts about stars, and they even used an app to find certain planets and constellations. It was chilly, and a little too bring in our cul de sac to see much, but there was a Venus sighting!

Baby Bird Update: Sadly, we lost one last week. It fell out of the nest and was too injured to survive. But, these three are growing so fast!

At this time last year, we gathered at our church with our friends The Boyce Family and about 100 other people to make meals for food banks. Things are not quite as easy (or fun) this May.

The girls' friend Elle wrote a play and sent scripts to a group of their friends. Their first rehearsal went well, especially with Norah's feet helping out.

For an art assignment this week, Norah's class had to draw their favorite toy. Of course it was Bunny!

During family game night, Norah re-created a missing yellow piece for the game of Trouble. It also made a nice hat for Otis.
